Storyline
Sara runs a large country house in the middle of the Pyrenees, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Her peaceful life is interrupted by the unexpected arrival of her stepmother with whom she does not get along. Her stepmother brings her father’s ashes. What at first looks like a reconciliation turns into a nightmare.

UK directing duo marc & ish created this film with The Boxer Rebellion. They gave us the track and we took the idea of honesty from the lyrics and created a narrative that would be both completely surprising and utterly compelling. We wanted to make a something that was seriously playful and naughty, but also might be profound, raw and honest. Two “it” girls come home from a party and we compress 24 hours of a drunken roller-coaster of highs and lows, passion and heartache into 4 minutes. We wanted to explore a frenzied relationship, present the viewer with something that might be seen at first glance as controversial or sensational, but break through this…. breakthrough the fashionista styling, photo-shoot imagery, the beauty, the sexuality, the crazy night out… and try and find an intimate humanity that is shockingly real. Honest. Why two girls? Why not? Love is love.

[SEOUL GOT SOUL] SAVE THE BIKE LANE (Full Ver.)

[SAVE THE BIKE LANE] was one of the biggest project of [SEOUL got SOUL] series. (SEOUL got SOUL is a series of short documentray films that tells about fixed gear riders living in Seoul city). This film got selected for Bicycle Film Festival (BFF) 2011.

Seoul is not covered up with enough bike lanes compare to the size of the city, so the main purpose of this project is to create bike lanes on the road as a propaganda against Seoul city.

Seoul has been investing huge budget in its bike lane project since 1990s. The initial intention of the project itself was seemed promising. However, the city mistakenly did not consider diverse traffic conditions in each region. The bike lanes eventually caused traffic congestions, and turned out a massive parking space.

The already existing bike lanes along the sidewalks has been dominated by pedestrians and even trees for a long time. You will realize that there won’t be any big change even if filing civil complaints. The yellow line on the left side of the logo means protection, so you can see it as we are here to save the bike lanes.
No cars are allowed.
